About

Welcome!

Born and raised in the Ozark Mountains, I am honored to serve families in Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas as a birth doula.

I believe birth to be a beautiful, transformative experience to the women and families who walk through it. Having two children myself, it is a privilege to serve women during one of the most precious seasons of their life. I believe an empowered pregnancy and birth translates to an empowered motherhood. It is my mission to bring an evidence-based approach to mothers seeking support during their pregnancy and labor so that we may work together towards a holistic and informed birth.

My formal training for doula work is through Childbirth International, an accredited organization. I also have my Bachelors in Science of Nursing and have worked as a registered nurse in various settings for over 5 years. While working as a doula, I am also apprenticing to become a midwife. Having two home births while simultaneously working in the hospital setting for years has given me the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds and a gained knowledge that has become invaluable towards my work with clients.

I currently live near Berryville/Eureka Springs, AR with my husband, Nathan, two boys, Wilder and Rowan, and a mess of farm animals. Friends and family are nearby and have been the richest support system in this season of life. I like to think of myself as good-natured and down-to-Earth. I am passionate about my work and passionate about serving you! Working as a doula, I have been lovingly duped as “your built-in best friend who happens to know a lot about birth” which I will gladly be for you. My favorite things include the month of October, boiling hot coffee in the morning, medium-rare steak, walking barefoot in the grass, and listening to my children laugh.

What I Offer

Whether this is your first birth or you are an experienced mama, I offer my services throughout your pregnancy, labor and birth, and early postpartum. My care is completely customizable for you, but in general, here is a brief description of my offerings:

  • Receive guidance as we navigate together what birth and motherhood will look like for you. Meeting together for prenatal sessions will help prepare you and your support system for your upcoming labor.

  • Giving you 24/7 hour support in the weeks leading up to your birth. During labor and delivery, I will be there every step of the way as helper to you and your support system.

  • In the form of washing dishes and folding a load of laundry or providing lactation support (or anything in between) let me help you create sacred space in your home as you welcome your little one into your life.
